DAMA International (Data Management Association International) is a global, non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the field of data management. Founded in 1980, it provides a platform for data management professionals to connect, share knowledge, and promote best practices. DAMA International offers resources such as the DAMA DMBoK® (Data Management Body of Knowledge), certifications like the Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP®), and a network of local chapters worldwide. Its mission is to foster excellence in data management to help organizations maximize the value of their data assets. DAMA Switzerland - Zurich is a local Swiss chapter affiliated with DAMA International.
